There are many things anime fans are especially passionate about. Which is better, subs or dubs? Why is the original work (manga, game, or light novel) nearly always better than the anime? What is the reason live-action anime adaptions exist, when fans nearly always seem to hate them? Another subject fans apparently feel strongly about is pink-haired anime girls, and which one is the best. I asked J-List’s customers to show us their favorites, and here are some of the top picks!
This is another data-heavy post, so if you’re on your phone you might want to check wifi!
The Top 18 Pink-Haired Anime Girls
We’ll start off the list with Louise Françoise Le Blanc de La Vallière. Interestingly, some fans who tend to hate on tsundere girls strongly dislike her, but compared she’s quite adorable in dere (lovey-dovey) mode.
Sakura from Naruto is another popular anime girl with pink hair. Are you a fan?
Chibi Usa might have been the first pink-haired character a lot of early anime fans encountered.
Another classic character is Utena, who caused many girls to question their sexuality early on, I imagine. Even I did, and I’m a guy.
It’s always fun to enjoy the antics of Moka Akashiya from Rosario + Vampire, which never fails to amuse us with its endless fanservice.
Madoka Magica turned the magical girl world on its ear with the epic storytelling of Gen Urobuchi of Nitroplus, and Madoka herself became one of the most iconic pink-haired anime girls ever.
Another deliciously dark story from Nitroplus was Gakkou Gurashi, a cute moe show about some girls who decide to live in their school for some reason. It’s totally not about a zombie apocalypse and how humans would react to such a situation. There were not one but two awesome characters with pink hair to choose from in this show, Yuki and Megu-nee.
Another show that resonated well with fans was Comic Girls, about four girls trying to become manga artists. The star of the show was Kaos-chan, who had zero self-confidence about how to realize her dream.
Zero Two was another popular character who we’d all like to ride give headpats to.
Nonon from Kill la Kill was a fascinating character with great character design.
Nadeshiko from Yuru Camp made us all want to go camping in the winter. See Yuru Camp figures and more on the site.
Of course, there’s no way we’d keep Super Sonico off this list. We love her so much, we translated her official game, and carry all her figures.
Another S-rank waifu is Mashu Kyrielite, the most loyal and dedicated kouhai we could ever want. She’s voiced by Rie Takahashi, who also does Takagi-san and Emilia-tan.
Chloe Von Einzbern is another popular pink-haired girl, always looking cute as she reminds us to stay hydrated.
One of the top harem anime of the past few years was Bokuben: We Never Learn, about the main character named Nariyuki who must tutor three girls in order to receive his university recommendation. The fourth character, teacher Kurisu Mafuyu, usually ends up stealing the show for fans.
Momo Velia Deviluke from To Love-Ru Darkness is another popular character with J-List customers. Why not preorder her giant 1/4 scale bunny girl figure?
Ram from Re:Zero is another super-cute girl who we’d love to make a soccer team with give headpats to.
Who’s the best pink-haired anime girl? I’d have to go with MC Chika, the rapper. pic.twitter.com/sK0eiwQenH

Finally, the question of who the best anime girl with pink hair is pretty much resolved as far as I’m concerned. The incredible depth and charm of Chika Fujiwara and how much she’s loved by fans require us to put her at the top of the list.
