As we’ve announced, there are currently challenges shipping to some countries, with the biggest issue being the Japanese Post Office’s suspension of all SAL (economy airmail) shipping to all countries, and even airmail and EMS (economy express shipping) to the U.S. and Canada because of the interruption of international flights, which carry the bulk of mail. Happily, we’ve been able to ship products through DHL to the U.S. and Canada normally, and still ship via airmail and EMS to several countries in Europe. Here’s the list of countries we can ship to…with cute anime gifs!
Note: Remember that J-List is taking your health and safety extremely seriously. Our picking and packing employees are all working in a very clean environment, wearing masks and washing hands frequently.

We’re super happy that we can provide speedy DHL shipping to our customers in the U.S., and DHL has been up to the task, getting packages out the door with an as little delay from the crisis as possible. You should have seen the look on the face of our DHL pickup guy as he loaded 500+ packages into his truck yesterday, the first pickup day after the Golden Week holidays. He must have been thinking, “What kind of company is this, to ship so many packages at a time like this?” Naturally, we can also ship to Guam and Puerto Rico via DHL. And best of all, we’ve brought back our 10% off automatic DHL shipping coupon!
Canada
EMS delivery to Canada is similarly disrupted by the virus and the cancelation of most flights. But we can ship to you via speedy DHL, with the 10% shipping discount automatically applied. UPDATE! EMS and Airmail have also been restored!
United Kingdom
Shipment via EMS to the United Kingdom are not disrupted. Thanks, Japanese Post and Royal Mail!
France
Are you in France? Then J-List can ship our products to you via convenient EMS!
Germany
Guten tag to our customers in Germany. EMS is still shipping to you without interruption!
Australia
We started shipping to Australia via DHL when the crisis hit, and have been happy both with the reliability of the shipping and the warm response from our customers there. Thanks!

I’m a big fan of New Zealand, having lived there as a child. And I’m happy to report we can ship there thanks to DHL.

Thailand is a country with a strong cultural connection to Japan, in part because both are Buddhist countries. We also now ship to Thailand via DHL!

Unfortunately, this is the list of countries we can ship to as of early June 2020, as other countries are still on lockdown, or are still recovering from the damage caused by Covid-19.
