Utena spends her days collecting mahou shoujo merch and dreaming about becoming a magical girl. However, when a magical mascot offers to turn her into one, her transformation doesn’t go as she planned. Instead of becoming a hero of justice, she transforms into a scantily dressed succubus! And unfortunately for her, unless she fights the magical girls she loves, her transformation (and identity) will be shared on social media! So, begrudgingly, she fights them. But the moment she subjugates her beloved magical girls, Utena realizes that there’s something so sexually stimulating about it!
The Asashi Productions anime adapts Akihiro Ononaka’s Mahou Shoujo ni Akogarete manga. Takebshobo’s Storia Dash website serialized the Maho Ako manga from its March 2019 debut until its March 2024 hiatus. The Gushing Over Magical Girls manga resumed serialization in October 2025 through Takeshobo’s TakeComi! website. J-Novel released the manga in English.
