For years one of my favorite artists has been Kantoku, the doujin artist who creates the most amazing characters, with characters who seem to stare into our very souls…especially when they’re staring at us through our screens, as in the One Room POV anime. In addition to the One Room Blu-rays, which we have in stock, an official settei shiryou-shu or artbook of official character data was released by Kantoku. Let’s learn about the artbook!
Basically a book like this shows fans the official character data that was used to define the characters created by Kantoku, which would serve as a model for animators when they created their storyboards and animation frames. All the characters from the One Room series are present, with a focus on the characters who are featured in the third season, as well as all the characters from past seasons who made cameos in the third season.
Kantoku’s characters are so well-designed, they practically become real for us, and having the official data of each girl presented here, in both fully colored and sketch form, is really special. This is an artbook that Kantoku fans will love having in their collections!
