It’s always interesting when we get in a new ero toy from one of Japan’s onahole manufacturers, and I try to guess how long it will stick around on the site. Most toys stay in production for a couple of months then fade away, depending on the popularity they find with customers, while others — such as the Your Name or Kimetsu no Yaiba parody toys — are made specifically to capitalize on some cultural boom, then go out of print very quickly. Sometimes, of course, the company in question has come up with a really WTF onahole concept, leading to poor sales and the manufacturer pulling the product early…though you never know, these bizarre toys might show up in the random gacha onahole boxed sets J-List customers love to buy.
Other times, a given onahole really resonates with customers, leading to sustained sales that keep that toy in production for years and years, being such a hit with customers that the company keeps it around forever. They often make an alternate version of these toys, adding a “hard” version made of firmer materials.
