The wonderful thing about having eleven stories in this tankouban is that each story appeals to different fetishes and scenarios, depending on your mood. Most of it falls toward the “vanilla” side of the spectrum, so you won’t see any girls turn into giant tentacle monsters or see any ugly bastards railing a girl in the stock room of a convenience store. A couple of the stories venture into voyeurism, which is always fun.
There’s a delicate balance struck between the pages of I Love You. On one side, there are loving, passionate sex scenes where the characters share an emotional connection. And on the other, there are scenes with people behaving like sex-starved animals, where they give in to complete carnal bliss. I Love You keenly encompasses both of those types of sexual situations.
Jorori does a fantastic job at displaying the hot foreplay that comes before intercourse.
One reads doujinshi for one purpose, but I stopped to admire the non-sexual panels. Check out this panel with the starry sky outside the window. Have you ever tried drawing Space before? Do you know how hard it is to effectively illustrate Space in black and white? Jorori is on another level.
