On January 11th, 2022, Netorabo Survey Team posted the results from their poll on the top 30 fan favorite Production I.G. anime. The poll, which was conducted from December 27th, 2021 to January 2nd, 2022, allowed participants to choose from fifty-five TV anime ranging from the classic Blue Seed to the recent Fena: Pirate Princess. Write-ins were also possible for movies and OVAs. The reason for the limited list is that, though established in 1987, Production I.G. was originally I.G Tatsunoko until 1993. This is why Patlabor 2, which premiered a month before the name change, didn’t make the cut.
Below is the ranking of all 30 shows. Any show that has numbers in parentheses next to it shares that rank with multiple titles. Let’s see what the fan-favorite shows were:
