It’s a marvelous time for oppai lovers! The anime adaptation of Kamio Fukuchi’s ecchi rom-com manga, Yowayowa Sensei, is only a few months away! The anime’s production team revealed an April 2026 premiere date, a teaser visual, character designs, and voice cast information alongside the adaptation announcement.
Brain’s Base studio, known for works like D-Frag! and How to Love Your Elf Bride, will produce the TV anime adaptation. Hiroshi Ishidori will direct the anime. Yoshifumi Fukushima will work on the series composition. Naoki Aisaka will handle the anime’s character designs.
Kakeru Hatano will have one of his first leading roles as Yowayowa Sensei‘s lead male character, Akihito Abikura. Marika Kouno (known for roles like Seiha Shinju and Silence Suzuka) will voice the anime’s lead female role, Hiyori Hiwamura.
Yowayowa Sensei Deets
Kamio Fukuchi writes and illustrates the oppai-filled Yowayowa Sensei manga. Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine has serialized the title since November 2022. The publisher has compiled the manga’s chapters into fifteen tankoubon volumes.
By the visuals alone, you can infer that Yowayowa Sensei is going to be a fan-service-heavy show, but what is it about?
Hiyori Hiwamura has long struggled with her looks. Despite her blessings of overwhelming beauty (and oppai so massive they could plug a black hole), Hiyori’s demeanor and expressions make people think she’s terse and unapproachable. While those traits are a godsend at an anime con or hardcore concert, for a teacher like her, they’re problematic.
Instead of exuding the aura of an affable and convivial sensei, Hiyori’s demeanor makes students afraid of her. Their terror is so big that she’s nicknamed Kowa-Kowa Sensei (scary, scary sensei). Her students think of her like Middle-earth thinks of Sauron. But despite Hiyori’s appearance, the only dangerous thing about Hiyori is the size of her oppai. However, she’s a yowayowashii sensei (weak sensei). And when her student, Akihito, realizes that she’s a closeted sweetheart, he helps her shake her stigma. Little did Akihito know that his decision would lead to an inappropriate romance!
Yowayowa Sensei’s production team has yet to announce what Japanese channels or Western streaming services will air the anime.
