It’s been a while since we saw an isekai series with Celtic themes. Well, it’s just in the names, but I’ll take what I can get. Fans who’ve waited since 2021 to see this series return, rejoice. Time finally caught up to a legendary assassin. He announced his retirement well into his golden years. His allies bid him farewell and plotted his demise. A suspicious goddess pulled him from the cycle of rebirth and offered him a chance at a new life, on the condition that he resume his former career. We’ll see him take up his weapon again when The World’s Finest Assassin Gets Reincarnated in Another World as an Aristocrat Season 2 (Sekai Saikou no Ansatsusha, Isekai Kizoku ni Tensei suru) premieres sometime in 2027.

The World’s Finest Assassin Gets Reincarnated in Another World as an Aristocrat & Targets the Hero
An assassin has lived a long and blood-soaked life. He lived to old age in a profession where most die young. His former allies thwarted his plans to peacefully retire by orchestrating a terrible crash. However, that wouldn’t be the end of his tale. The Goddess of another world summons him to her palace and offers him an opportunity to live another life full of magic. There’s a catch, though: he has to assassinate the Hero after the Demon King is slain.
Humanity’s savior will become drunk on his own power and prove to be a greater threat. Thus, the assassin is reborn in that world and given a choice of magic skills to inherit as he becomes Lugh Tuatha Dé, the son of doctors and assassins. Lugh plans to train and become the greatest magic-wielding assassin in the world. Whether or not the Hero becomes his enemy is up to fate. Likewise, the Goddess herself seems plenty suspicious.
