We’ll see how far she goes when Reincarnated as the Daughter of the Legendary Hero and the Queen of Spirits (Chichi wa Eiyu, Haha wa Seirei, Musume no Watashi wa Tenseisha) premieres sometime in October 2025.
Matsuura and keepout released the original Reincarnated as the Daughter of the Legendary Hero and the Queen of Spirits light novel between March 10th, 2018, and October 7th, 2022. Fujimi Shobo published all nine volumes in the Kadokawa Books imprint.
The divine family is as follows:
- Rovel Vankrieft — Kazuyuki Okitsu (Moz from Dr. Stone). A legendary hero who saved the kingdom from demons and quietly retired.
- Origin — Mai Nakahara (Akagi from Azur Lane). Ellen’s mother, Rovel’s wife, and the Goddess of Creation and Queen of Spirits. She’s not at all shy about her transparent dress.
- Ellen Vankrieft — Seria Fukagawa (Hinako Kita from The Idolmaster Cinderella Girls). A Japanese reincarnation with a background in science.

A gifted scientist meets an unfortunate end while working in her lab. She’s reborn into another world as the daughter of the legendary hero and his lover, the Goddess of Creation and Queen of Spirits. Ellen Vankrieft is a half spirit with a well of power that makes perfect use of her keen scientific mind. Her new parents love her with all their hearts (Rovel is the new Maes Hughes from Fullmetal Alchemist). Likewise, she loves them, and she’s determined to protect them.
Origin took Rovel with her to the spirit world to tend his wounds after the final battle against the invading demons. The people eagerly awaited their hero’s return. Rovel delayed his return so he could enjoy married life with his goddess. He would only return after his daughter grew old enough to master her abilities. It’s unfortunate, but Rovel’s old friend recognized him and announced his return. Rovel is going to face hardship, but he has a hot wife and a cute daughter at his side.
