A Feast of Art
We’ve got an informal monthly art contest on the go on J-List’s official Discord channel. For this month, the topic is “feast”, and you can interpret that any way you like, as long as you stick to the server’s rules. If you’re an artist, come and join in the fun.
Pokémon: V Battle Decks Announced
Get really to whip out your deck and impress your friends, because the Pokémon TGC is getting new V Battle Decks, the Lycanroc V and Corviknight V, which will release in early 2022. The decks can be bought separately or as a set, with the bundle containing 8 additional cards, two of which are holos.

Port of Los Angeles Wants to get you Your Hentai for Christmas
In an effort to clear shipping congestion, the Port of Los Angeles is now imposing fines on cargo containers that spend too long in port. The fine is $100 per container, per day, which goes up incrementally, daily. This pickle-and-reporter team has no idea what that will really mean for the shipping of hentai, but the clearing of congestion is great news this close to the Christmas rush, even as paper shortages hamper the doujin pipeline.
Osamu Tezuka’s Bomba! to see English Release, Early January
Mash together The Hulk, Black Beauty, and Death Note, and you have a very poor description of what you’ll find in Bomba!, the manga by Osamu Tezuka that began serialization in 1970. The manga is finally being released in English, on the 12th of January 2022, by Vertical Comics. If nothing else, this is one for the Tezuka fans to add to their collection.
