Two friends spend most of their time discussing the cool guy they both admire. Their friendship can quickly spiral into rivalry when the question of who can talk to him first arises. To make matters more interesting, their admiration and affection can rapidly spiral into stalking when they discuss his obscene traits, such as his guts or flatulence. We’ll see where this impromptu fan club goes when Kirio Fanclub premieres sometime in 2026.
Ponchan Chikyu no Osakana released the original Kirio Fanclub manga series between June 24th, 2022, and August 9th, 2024. Jitsugyo no Nihon Sha has published all six volumes in Comic Ruelle. Chukyo TV’s live-action adaptation premiered on April 2nd, 2025.
Kirio Fanclub Cast
The two friends/rivals and their love interest are as follows:

- Aimi Miyoshi — Nene Hieda (KMS Elbe from Azur Lane). Aimi is the more ruthless and underhanded member of the self-professed fan club.
- Nami Sometani — Shion Wakayama (Henao Jazz from Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury). Nami is the kindest and most understanding member of the fan club.
- Ken Kirio — Gakuto Kajiwara (Hitohito Tadano from Komi Can’t Communicate). Ken is the unaware object of their affections.
Studio Satelight has maintained a home page, a TikTok page, an Instagram page, and a Twitter (X) page to promote Kirio Fanclub. You can find additional series information and the Key Visuals there.
The Slightly Obsessed and Unhinged Members of the Kirio Fanclub
Aimi Miyoshi and Nami Sometani are good friends. They share many hobbies and habits, including stalking their love interest, Ken Kirio. Aimi and Nami spend their time talking about Ken, such as whether they might hear him pass wind if his efforts broke the sound barrier, or whether his nose bled while he cleaned it. They seem to love everything about him despite not really talking to him.

Ken has no idea how they feel. He recognizes them as his classmates, but beyond that, he is not aware that they are deeply obsessed with him. While the girls discuss ways of attempting to speak with him in real life, such as finding his school blazer or visiting him at the infirmary, they wonder whether they can be friends and rivals in love at the same time. The odds of them getting close to him anytime soon are remote, so this probably won’t be a problem.
