In a follow-up to the brief teaser fans were treated to three months ago, Shin-Ei Animation released a full trailer for The Dangers in My Heart (Boku no Kokoro no Yabai Yatsu). Fans of the series are treated to the first meeting between the gloomy loner Kyotaro Ichikawa and the class idol, Anna Yamada, that secretly eats snacks throughout the day.
The series is set to premiere in April 2023, so this trailer will have to tide fans over until then.

He Dreams of Murder; She Dreams of Snacks
The Dangers in My Heart features a cute and unlikely romance story between an introverted guy with dark thoughts of murder, and the class idol, everyone’s goddess. Kyotaro Ichikawa is at the bottom of the pecking order in school, which might explain his darkened appearance and mood. He reads about and dreams of committing murder. Kyotaro wants to see his fellow classmates die. Whether he would actually go through it, probably not. Regardless, his primary target has been the most popular girl around, Anna Yamada. Beautiful, charming, and has a penchant for leaving the top button on her shirt undone, she catches everyone’s eyes.
Kyotaro spends a great deal of his time reading in the school library. It just so happens that Anna also wastes time there, though she has her nose in plates of snacks and not books. Kyotaro and Anna regularly meet there, so Kyotaro notices that she’s kind of a ditz with an appetite for snacks, which he can’t help but find alluring. Anna also finds him charming, and she can’t help but tease him to see his flustered reactions. Thus begins a cute relationship with a dour boy and a bright and cheery girl.
The Dangers in My Heart Origins
The Dangers in My Heart began as a manga series written and illustrated by Norio Sakurai. Akita Shoten started publishing the series on March 8th, 2018, and eight volumes have been released since.
