A series of murders has rocked the city. A well-known detective has recently appeared as one of the murderer’s victims. People suspect that a vampire is behind the killings. The detective’s son joins the case to uncover the truth. He quickly has a fateful meeting with a vampire and his human assistant. We’ll see if these three can crack the case when The Case Book of Arne (Arne no Jikenbo) premieres sometime in January 2026.
Harumurasaki released the original The Case Book of Arne video game on November 6th, 2017. Soraho Ina illustrated the manga adaptation between November 15th, 2018, and March 15th, 2022. Media Factory published all four volumes in Monthly Comic Gene.

The Case Book of Arne Records a New Murder
A series of murders has rocked the city of Lügenberg. Even a local detective has joined the victims. The people blame vampires for these horrendous attacks. The detective’s son — Luis Hartman — refuses to believe that the supernatural has taken his father. He has set out to crack the case and bring his father’s killer to justice. Luis quickly discovers that vampires are very real, and they can even be detectives.

Arne Neuntöte is a vampire detective with a troubled reputation. He has been weakened and reduced to a childlike form most of the time. The noblewoman and vampire fanatic Lynn Reinweiss closely follows him as his assistant. Luis joins them to work on the case and catch the killer before any more victims are taken to the morgue.
