If you were hoping for a steamy, nudity-filled harem this coming fall, you’re in luck! The production team for Tales of Wedding Rings confirmed that the second season of the ecchi, harem anime is set for an October 4, 2025, premiere!
The production company also revealed a new visual for the anime’s second season, along with its opening and ending songs. The first season’s theme song performer, Sizuk, will also provide the new season’s OP, “Daybreak.” Akira Kito (Kanata in Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club and Momoji in Bad Girl) will perform the ending song, “Any if.”
The first season of Kekkon Yubiwa Monogatari aired uncensored on Crunchyroll. However, it’s unknown whether the second season of the show will also receive that treatment. Most ecchi shows that have joined the Crunchyroll roster since then have been subjected to the scrutiny of the Holy Light!
Tales of Wedding Rings Details
Square Enix’s Monthly Big Gangan serialized the manga Tales of Wedding Rings from its launch in March 2014 until its conclusion in August 2024. Maybe wrote and illustrated the manga. The series was collected into 15 tankobon volumes. Kekkon Yubiwa Monogatari is published in English by Yen Press. Crunchyroll Manga offers the digital version of the series in the US and Canada. There’s also a virtual reality experience of the manga available through HTC Vive.
Staple Entertainment animated a 12-episode TV anime that aired in Winter 2024. Takashi Noya directed the adaptation, and Deko Akao handled the script. Both will return for the show’s second season. The leading voice cast of Tales of Wedding Rings includes…

Kekkon Yubiwa Monogatari Synopsis
Tales of Wedding Rings is like an isekai inside of another isekai. The story follows Krystal Novaty (Hime) Nokanatika, a princess from another world who escapes to modern-day Japan to avoid her assassination. However, a kid named Gen Satou sees her as she arrives in Japan. Instead of attacking him or leaving him for scavengers, Hime asks Gen to forget what he saw, and in return, she promises to be his friend. From there, they have a happy childhood together, and Gen quickly falls for the charming Hime.
When Hime reaches her teenage years and needs to fulfill her royal duties, she leaves to marry a prince and form an alliance. But Gen realizes that Hime’s absence means he’ll lose his best friend (childhood friend) and his crush. So he rushes to the isekai world to stop her betrothal. Unfortunately, Gen isn’t the only one crashing the wedding — evil forces attack the ceremony too. In a desperate move to save himself and Hime, she swaps magical rings with Gen, giving him the power to fight the monsters attacking them. But this new power comes with a catch — Gen has to marry four other princesses to fully unlock it and save the world from the Demon Lord Abyss King.
