A new isekai series is on the horizon. While it’s become a standard trope of good isekai protagonists forming harems, rarely is it vitally important for our boys to marry different girls. Tales of Wedding Rings (Kekkon Yubiwa Monogatari) presents such an ideal scenario where we’ll get the best ending. We’ll see how he works his charm when the series premieres sometime in January 2024. Until then, let’s see the new waifus lineup in the trailer below. The trailer is available in both Japanese and English.
Maybe, the writer and artist with a unique and confusing pen name first released Tales of Wedding Rings on March 25th, 2014. Square Enix has since released thirteen volumes in Monthly Big Gangan.
Our new favorite isekai protagonist, and a couple of his wives, are as follows:
- Haruto Sato — Gen Sato (Gale Gibson in That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime). Sato fell in love with Hime at first sight. He followed her to another world to be with her and became a true warrior.
- Himeno “Hime” Nonaka / Krystal Novaty Nokanatika — Akari Kito (Nezuko Kamado in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba). One of the five ring-bearing princesses. She hails from Nokanatika, the country of light. Hime hid away in our world from a young age to escape the forces of evil.
- Granart Needakitta — Hitomi Ueda (Michiko Tendou in Chainsaw Man). One of the five ring-bearing princesses. She hails from Needakitta, the country of fire. Granart is a physically mighty cat girl who likes people stronger than her.
Staple Entertainment has set up a home page and Twitter page to promote Tales of Wedding Rings. Fans and potential viewers can find behind-the-scenes information, and numerous character Key Visuals, there.
In Another World With My Brides
Tales of Wedding Rings is yet another one of those apt titles, despite sounding like another entry in the famous Bandai Namco franchise. Sato met Hime and her grandfather when they appeared in a brilliant flash of light ten years ago. It was love at first sight, but neither made a move to act on this feeling even after all that time. When the time came for Hime to go back home, to another world entirely, Sato chased after her. It’s there that he kind of interrupted Hime’s wedding to a prince.
A winged demon from the abyss literally crashed the wedding. Given a choice between the prince and Sato, Hime decided to give Sato one of the two rings she kept with her since childhood. As the princess of light, their union granted Sato incredible power. The prince was chill enough to toss Sato his own sword, and in one fell swing, the demon was slain. Having wed the princess of light, he must now win over the princesses of wind, fire, water, and earth to unlock enough power to save the world.

If you’re looking for a princess from another world eager to get married, J-List has a suggestion. The Hestia 1/7 Figure -Wedding Dress- from Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Girls in a Dungeon? is now available for pre-order. Sure, she’s a goddess and not a princess, but she’s royal in our eyes. She’s also the Best Girl from her series, and Bell is blind as a bat to not notice that.
