The wait for One-Punch Man Season 3 is almost at an end. Season 1 aired back in 2015, and Season 2 followed in 2019. One-Punch Man fans are clearly used to waiting for the best. We’ll have to wait longer for Saitama to have his climactic battle against Garo. Fans of the series might have mixed feelings about J.C. Staff animating Season 3. Season 2 was criticized for its perceived lackluster art direction. Viewers at the time noted a “static-scrolling animation” style. While J.C. Staff has not given a premiere date to mark on our calendars, we have an action-packed trailer to enjoy.
One first released his original One-Punch Man webcomic sometime in 2009. Shueisha picked up the rights and attached the famed artist Yusuke Murata to illustrate the manga iteration. This run began on June 14th, 2012. Interested readers can find 29 volumes in Tonari no Young Jump.
The Pro Hero’s Party Continues. Bring Cake.
Our hero for fun and some of his friends are as follows:
- Saitama — Makoto Furukawa (Rider of Red/Achilles from Fate/Apocrypha). A kind person who trained incredibly hard to become a hero for fun. Though mild-mannered and overlooked by everyone, he is among the strongest beings on the planet.
- Genos — Kaito Ishikawa (Karaku from Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba). A cyborg who dedicates his life to the pursuit of justice and to hunt the mad cyborg who destroyed his village. Genos became Saitama’s apprentice to understand his power.
- Tatsumaki — Aoi Yuki (Lucy from Cyberpunk: Edgerunners). The older sister of the Esper Sisters and one of the world’s most powerful psychics.
- Fubuki — Saori Hayami (Oyuki from Urusei Yatsura (2022)). The younger sister of the Esper Sisters. She leads the Blizzard Group.
J.C. Staff has maintained a home page, an Instagram page, and a Twitter (X) page to promote One-Punch Man. You can find additional series information and the Key Visuals there.
One-Punch Man vs. Human Monster
For those new to this legendary series, welcome! One-Punch Man occurs in a world of heroes, villains, and monsters. Saitama is the titular character. He possesses peerless strength, speed, and agility. Saitama has yet to meet a proper challenge, so the upper limits of his power remain a mystery. Only a few of the heroes around him even know of his power, and it’s not because he’s shy about his hero work. After all, Saitama is just a hero for fun.
Garou is one of Saitama’s more dangerous foes. Though he once desired to be a hero, Garou chose another path after the popular kids at school bullied him. Garou became a monster who defeated the heroes that people admired. He even joined the Monsters Association as his powers grew. Garou has since become a threat to the world, and his subsequent encounter with Saitama may be the last.
