In the latest entry of ridiculously long light novel titles which is going to get an anime adaptation at some point in 2021, we have the mouthful of a title Osananajimi ga Zettai ni Makenai Love Come (A Romantic Comedy Where the Childhood Friend Absolutely Will Not Lose or more simply known as OsaMake). Read on to check out the first English subtitled promotional video, cast, and crew details!
As previously mentioned, OsaMake is set to premiere in 2021, with animation produced by Doga Kobo. Takashi Naoya will direct and is providing character designs. He’ll be working off the series composition penned by Yoriko Tomita.
As for the cast, the primary characters are to be portrayed as follows (character names first):
Sueharu Maru: Yoshitsugu Matsuoka
Kuroha Shida: Inori Minase
Shirokusa Kachi: Ayane Sakura
Maria Momosaka: Saori Onishi
Kai Tetsuhiko: Nobunaga Shimazaki
Originally a light novel series written by Shūichi Nimaru and illustrated by Ui Shigure that launched in June 2019, OsaMake has been compiled into four volumes in Japan thus far, with the fifth volume to be published on October 10th, 2020.
The website NovelUpdates describes the story as:
My childhood friend Shida Kuroha seems to have feelings for me. She lives next door, and is small and cute. With an outgoing character, she’s the caring Onee-san type, this being one of her greatest strengths.
