Megumi Express Is the Proxy Buying Service from J-List
When J-List launched the first Japan-based anime and ecchi shop for international fans back in 1996, it was a completely different world. The internet had opened a window into Japan, allowing fans to connect with the country’s popular culture in amazing new ways. The result? A huge surge in Japan’s Gross National Cool, and a global explosion of anime, manga, and otaku culture around the world.
Through it all, J-List was Your Friend in Japan®, delivering Domo-kun plush toys, naughty doujinshi, and all kinds of fun products to our customers around the world. Now, we’re introducing Megumi Express, your personal proxy-buying service from J-List. Now you can buy anything from Japan, regardless of whether we have it in stock on the J-List or JBOX.com websites.
Our new service offers many benefits. Here’s why you’ll love it!:
- Fast and reliable shipping from J-List, a company that’s been passionate about Japan for 28 years.
- Transparent pricing, with no surprise fees. Just open a ticket to our staff with a photo and/or the URL of the item you want to buy, and we’ll give you a price within a few hours.
- Free storage for up to six months! We’ll be happy to hold items for you and ship them together when they come in.
- Your “Friend in Japan” is now your personal proxy buyer!
What Can You Order from Megumi Express?
Pretty much anything! Let’s look at some of the things J-List customers have purchased through Megumi Express already!
Order Limited Otaku Products from Shops in Japan
There are lots of limited toy items that can only be purchased from certain official shops in Japan, which don’t ship internationally. If you don’t have an address inside Japan, you’re out of luck. But with Megumi Express, you can buy any fun item you want. Just give the details to our staff and we’ll set you up!
Order Rare Toys from Shops in Japan
Don’t you hate finding some amazing toys from a shop online, only to see that they don’t ship outside of Japan? Megumi Express will be happy to get these items for you. Preorders are fine, too!
You Can Custom Order Sexy Photobooks with Megumi Express!
J-List customers are loving the sexy cosplay photobooks from HaneAme we’ve been adding to the J-List site recently. But some of them are out of print, making them hard to find. But Megumi Express is happy to search through used shops on your behalf!
Music CDs, Japan-Release Boxed Sets, and More!
Are you a collector of anime CDs? Want to own physical copies of popular VTuber song releases? We can get music CDs and concert DVDs and Blu-rays easily. We can even find vinyl albums and laser discs and send them to you!
Rare Magazines and More
Do you love the classic Japanese cars of the ’80s and ’90s? Would you like to pick up Japanese-language material about your favorite movie or other fandom? Just open a ticket with Megumi Express and tell us what you want.
Special Order JAV Products Through Megumi Express
Are you a fan of a JAV actress who’s retired now, but you want to collect her photobooks or DVDs? Although these products would only be available from used shops in Japan, J-List’s proxy buying service can help you out. Looking for rare JAV products that must be purchased from the official shops run by Alice Japan or Prestige? Just ask our buyers and we can set you up!
Megumi Express Can Get Rare Otaku Products for You
Naturally, a lot of J-List customers are interested in otaku culture, and want to own fun items we’ve seen online. Whether you’re looking for a rare item to complete your perfect otaku room or the official Fern fragrance for Frieren fans, our staff can get you want you want!
If you’re a fan of a certain ecchi artist and want to collect their dakimakura covers or tapestries, or round out your collection of their doujinshi, Megumi Express is just a click away.
