Itsuki Tomonari’s new job, taking care of a princess-like girl, is about to begin! His worthless parents continue to burn through his money without showing any sort of familial regard for him. They eventually left him penniless and at his wits’ end. A chance encounter with a kidnapped rich girl leads him to the best job in the world. We’ll see what he does with this opportunity when Rich Girl Caretaker: I’m Secretly the Caregiver of the Most Popular Girl in This Rich Kid School (Saijo no Osewa: Takane no Hanadarake na Meimonkou de, Gakuin Ichi no Ojousama (Seikatsu Nouryoku Kaimu) wo Kagenagara Osewa suru Koto ni Narimashita) premieres on July 4th, 2026.

Yusaku Sakaishi released the original Rich Girl Caretaker novel on the user-generated novel website Shosetsuka ni Naro between April 2nd, 2020, and October 26th, 2021. Yusaku Sakaishi and Sakura Miwabe released the light novel adaptation on May 1st, 2021. Hobby Japan has since published eleven volumes in the HJ Bunko imprint. Sorahiko Mizushima provided the art for the manga adaptation, which debuted on July 2nd, 2021. Hobby Japan has since published five volumes in Comic Fire.
Rich Girl Caretaker Cast
The rich girl, her new caretaker, and her maid are as follows:
- Hinako Konohana — Konomi Kohara (Arona from Blue Archive the Animation). Hinako is the dutiful and slovenly daughter of the CEO of a trillion-yen zaibatsu.
- Itsuki Tomonari — Yuto Uemura (Amajiki Tamaki from My Hero Academia). Itsuki became Hinako’s attendant after his parents left him destitute.
- Shizune Tsurumi — Ami Koshimizu (Yang Xiao Long from RWBY: Ice Queendom). Shizune is one of Hinako’s cool maids. She acts as Itsuki’s drill instructor, giving him both caretaker and self-defense lessons.

The Rich Girl Caretaker Appears to Save the Day
Itsuki Tomonari is a hard-working high school student with a poor lot in life. His parents do nothing but spend his earnings on gambling while contributing nothing to the household. They take things a step too far and abandon him with nothing but the clothes on his back. Just as he’s thinking about a path forward in life, he meets a cute girl from a rich high school. But oh dear, masked men tie her up and shove her into a van. Then they grab him because he witnessed their brazen daylight kidnapping.
Hinako Konohana is the heiress to a powerful Japanese zaibatsu, making her an ideal target for various types of criminals. As such, she’s not really phased by her predicament. A Konohana SWAT team rescued them and brought Itsuki back to her manor. Her father offered him a job as Hinako’s new caretaker. He’s the only one she can relax around, making him the perfect fit for the job. The new job affords him a generous pay packet, room and board in a mansion, and a free ride at a prestigious private school. He just has to deal with Hinako’s cute tendencies and possible ambushes by criminals.
