Grand Blue Deets
Grand Blue Dreaming is a Good! Afternoon (Kodansha) serialized manga written by Kenji Inoue and illustrated by Kimitake Yoshika. Kodansha has compiled the manga into 26 volumes since its 2014 debut. Kodansha USA publishes the English print and EPUB versions of the manga. Apart from the previous two seasons of the anime, Grand Blue was also adapted into a live-action film.
Iori Kitahara’s future seems like it’s already written — he’ll graduate college and take over his family’s inn. But that existence seems dreary, so when he moves to the Izu Peninsula and starts living at his uncle’s diving club, Iori’s life seems so new. He tries to avoid the weirdos of the local diving club, but the sun and the sea are tempting. And like anyone who’s found themselves in that situation can tell you, the call of the surroundings often wins. And with that, Iori enters a binge-drinking, hard-partying, diving-filled life.
Crunchyroll streams both previous seasons of Grand Blue.
