A new isekai series is coming sometime in 2024, making this announcement seem almost cruel, given how long we’ll have to wait for it. The full title of the series follows the general theme of “put the entire plot into the title,” is As a Reincarnated Aristocrat, I’ll Use My Appraisal Skill to Rise in the World (Tensei Kizoku, Kantei Skill de Nariagaru: Jakushou Ryouchi wo Uketsuida node, Yuushuu an Jinzai wo Fuyashiteitara, Saikyou Ryouchi ni Natteta) but for the sake of brevity and sanity, I shall be referring to it as Reincarnated Aristocrat.
Though the series won’t light up our screens until 2024, we have a brief trailer to watch and rewatch for a year.
Studio Mother is currently adapting the series to anime and set up a promotional home page and an official Twitter page to keep fans and potential viewers informed of new series updates. They have already made a Key Visual to entice fans to watch.
Reborn in Another World to Appraise
A regular Japanese salaryman with average physical and mental abilities who lives an unfulfilling life suffered a heart attack at age 35. He’s given another chance at life. And this otherwise unnamed salaryman is reborn as Ars Louvent (voiced by Natsumi Fujiwara), the heir to the minor noble Louvent family of the Summerforth Empire. Since this is an isekai story, he has a cheat ability: Appraisal. He can’t fight very well, nor is he remarkable with magic. But his Appraisal skill allows him to identify the quality of people and objects, which he uses successfully.
This skill will be instrumental in his new life, as Ars must prepare for battle. There will be a struggle for the throne by corrupt noblemen throughout the empire, and he will need allies. Ars finds Ritsu Muses (voiced by Taito Ban), an orphan of the Marca race, and hires him as a retainer for his exceptional combat prowess. Charlotte Wraith (played by Narumi Kaho) is the next orphan to be taken in due to her significant gift of magic. Rosell Kischa (voiced by Miho Okasaki) rounds out the group, taken in by Ars for his tactical mind.
As a Reincarnated Aristocrat, I’ll Use My Appraisal Skill to Rise in the World Origins
Ars suffered an unfortunate end to a listless life in the novel series written by Miraijin A. It was first posted to the user-generated website Shosetsuka ni Naro on October 31st, 2019, and continues to this day.
Kodansha obtained the publishing rights, and the artist Natsumi Inoue was brought on to adapt the series again to bring it to the manga-loving masses. The first issue of this run was published on June 26th, 2020, and has since released eleven volumes for fans to collect.
Pressing on, Kodansha hired the artist Jimmy (we’re back to the weird artist names) to adapt the series to light novel format. They put out the first issue on July 2nd, 2020, and have since released four volumes.
Speaking of someone who needs the Appraisal skill, Subaru Natsuki of Re:Zero fame clearly needs it. Speaking of someone who needs the Appraisal skill, Subaru Natsuki of Re:Zero fame clearly needs it. Rem is clearly the best girl, so her Rem 1/7 Figure Magical Girl Ver. proves it. If you agree, it’s available now for pre-order.
