Ragna Crimson is one of those dark fantasy anime series. Despite the heroes finding victory on the battlefield, there are still losses to mourn. The trailer alone will highlight this theme. Silver Link will begin airing the series on September 30th, 2023. Until then, take a look at how cool Ragna and Crimson are.
Silver Link has set up a promotional home page and an official Twitter page. These sites are ideal for fans and potential viewers to find additional information. Bonuses, like Key Visual and character art, can also be found on the homepage. Furthermore, Daiki Kobayashi, the mangaka himself, is active on Twitter.
Dragons Rage and Humans Burn
Ragna Crimson follows the two title characters, Ragna, the dragon hunter, and Crimson, a mysterious man intent on assisting Ragna. Much like in Fairy Tail, the dragons in this series unleash wanton death and destruction wherever they go. This has given rise to dragon hunters, the only beings capable of defeating the dragons.
Many humans have desired revenge against the dragons, and none so more than Ragna himself. He suffered numerous losses, and recent visions about an even worse loss prompted him to increase his training. He saw the fall of his home city Ronabera, and the death of the strongest dragon hunter, Leonica. These visions are evidently Ragna’s own memories of the future. This future iteration of him showed him that, as strong as he is, there is no one left for him to protect. The present Ragna asks for his powers to avert this future. Despite the price to be paid, the future Ragna imparts his Silver Aura to his past self, making him the strongest dragon hunter.
Crimson teams up with Ragna to wipe out the dragons and their monarchs. His motives are unclear initially, but his power, intelligence, and gift for disguises are not to be trifled with. Even the mightiest dragons will fall before these two, with even the Dragon God’s safety no longer assured.
Ragna Crimson Origins
Daiki Kobayashi writes and illustrates this long-running series. Square Enix began publishing Ragna’s story in their Monthly Gangan Joker magazine on March 22nd, 2017. The publisher has since released eleven volumes for fans to purchase and collect.
Not all dragons are horrible monsters hellbent on destroying humanity. Some dragons only want to marry humans and act as loving waifus. This is easily proven with one look at the Tohru 1/6 Figure Bikini ver. found in the J-List shop’s Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon section. This dragon girl only wants to love and is available for pre-order now.
