During the “Next Level” fan appreciation event of Shoutarou Tokunou’s New Game! manga series, it was revealed that a second season has been green-lit. More details about the second season of New Game! will be revealed in the future.

In addition, it was revealed earlier in the month that there will be an unaired episode 13 of the anime coming soon, in OVA format. The OVA itself will feature Eagle Jump’s employee retreating to relax at the hot springs.

The OVA will be distributed to those who have collected the tickets that are included with all six BD and DVD volumes.

New Game! is a Japanese four-panel manga series by Shoutarou Tokunou, which began serialization in Houbunsha’s seinen manga magazine Manga Time Kirara Carat from January 2013. An anime television series adaptation by Doga Kobo aired in Japan between July and September 2016. A video game developed by 5pb. was released in January 2017.
