The original title of this series is My Instant Death Ability Is So Overpowered, No One in This Other World Stands a Chance Against Me! (Sokushi Chīto ga Saikyosugite, Isekai no Yatsura ga marude Aite ni Naranain Desu ga). That’s quite long, so we’ll be cutting it down.
This is an isekai series, but it comes with a different twist. For instance, our protagonist already had a cheat ability to begin with. We’ll see how well he uses his power when the series premieres in January 2024. Until then, the trailer should give us a good idea.

Cast in Another World, Time to Kill Everything
My Instant Death Ability Is So Overpowered presents a less-than-idyllic idea of an isekai situation. The sage Sion (voiced by Yui Horie), intending to create more sages, summoned a bus full of students to her world. She immediately killed the teacher and bus driver to prove the ruthless nature of her world. Sion cast a spell to make those capable of using their Gift glow. Those who were chosen left those who weren’t to die.
Yogiri Takatou (voiced by Koki Uchiyama) slept through the fun. Tomochika Dannoura (voiced by Miyu Tomita) awakened him just in time for the dragon to kill the other two students who were left behind. Yogiri killed the dragon with his power to instantly kill anyone with a thought. Yes, he came prepared with his own cheat ability. Yogiri decided right then to protect Tomochika simply because her breasts felt soft. Together, these two must find a way to survive and return home.
My Instant Death Ability Is So Overpowered Origins
Tsuyoshi Fujitaka originally posted his isekai series to the user-generated website Shosetsuka ni Naro on February 21st, 2016. Earth Star Entertainment obtained the publishing rights and tasked the artist Chisato Naruse to adapt the series to light novel form. This adaptation ran from October 15th, 2016, to March 15th, 2023. All fourteen volumes were published in Earth Star Novel.
Earth Star Entertainment also adapted My Instant Death Ability Is So Overpowered to manga form. This run with Hanamaru Nanto providing the illustrations began on March 30th, 2018. It is currently running in Earth Star Comics, with eight volumes available already.
