And that excitement grew after the anime’s production team released a new visual and trailer for the erotic drama.

If the Enemy of My Enemy Is My Friend, Is My Girlfriend’s Friend also My Girlfriend?
Imagine you have a kawaii girlfriend who loves you. I know that’s an incomprehensible task for some of you, but to quote SpongeBob, “imagination.” One day, after school’s done and the day ambles into night, your kawaii girlfriend invites you to karaoke. While not something you’re keen on, you agree. After all, a karaoke date is a pleasant way to bond. But you’re not alone. Your girlfriend’s super sexy friend, whom you’ve had the hots for, is also in attendance.
Then that hot friend starts to flirt with you! You tell yourself, “It’s a trap.” There’s no way My Girlfriend’s Friend is into me.” But she is and wants to ride you. Do you: A) Disregard your happiness because society said that “love = exclusivity” or B) gyaru shakuhachi?
If you’re like Takeru Hidaka, you’ll initially take the admirable path, then welcome the joys of gyaru shakuhachi.
Kanojo no Tomodachi Details
Studio Quad, which brought us My Life As Inukai-san’s Dog and Hands off: Sawaranaide Kotesashi-kun, will animate My Girlfriend’s Friend. The anime adapts Jura’s erotic drama/romance manga, Kanojo no Tomodachi. Kodansha has serialized the title since its May 2021 debut on multiple services (YanManga Web, Comic Days, and Magazine Pocket). The publishing company has released six volumes of the manga — they will release the seventh on the seventeenth.
Takashi Ando will direct My Girlfriend’s Friend. Additional production staff includes:
- Gokou Shiraki — Script and series composition
- Akira Koshiishi, Konatsu Kumagai, Masayuki Fujita — Chief Animation Director
- Hiroki Nishiyama — Sound Director
- Junichi Masunaga — Editor
- Makoto Togo — Director of Photography
- Naoto Awano — Animation Producer
- Ryuji Iwata — Character Designs, Chief Animation Director
- Takafumi Suzuki — Producer
Kanojo no Tomodachi’s lead voice cast includes:
- Ryuga Nagaike as Takeru Hidaka
- Sayashi Hashi as Kaori Koga
- Miki Hase as Tomoko Yoshida
As a Deregula (WWWave Corporation) title, we can expect My Girlfriend’s Friend to be a short-form anime with a duration of three to fifteen minutes.
Can I Interest You in NTR?
