Mistress Kanan is Devilishly Easy (Kanan-sama wa Akumade Choroi) is based on Nonco’s manga of the same name. The story follows Kanan Takakiyo, a centuries-old demon who, in her quest to consume human souls, pretends to be a normal high school girl. Being the kawaii, affable demon that she is, Kanan quickly becomes the chair of the disciplinary committee at Tama Municipal Votive Academy. But when Kanan sets her sights on Youji Kyougi, the gacha gods give her something she didn’t expect. Instead of munching on the warmth of a young soul, a demon delicacy, Youji pulls a reverse trap and ensnares Kanan with the power of love!
With centuries behind her, how does Kanan deal with love? She goes red at every sweet word, gets flustered when Youji holds her hand, and panics at the thought of dates!
Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine has serialized Mistress Kanan is Devilishly Easy since its June 2022 debut. Publishers will release the twelfth volume of the manga in Japan on January 16, 2026. Seven Seas Entertainment announced that they will release the Kanan-sama wa Akumade Choroi manga as a 2-in-1 omnibus (two volumes in one book), the first omnibus hitting shelves in July.
It’s a hurtful part of life that most of us will never know the love of a demon/succubus. However, with the A-One’s Succubus Onaholes, you can at least pretend you slept with a demon! That’s something to mull over.
