It’s been a while since we visited the world of KonoSuba. This beloved isekai tale about a hikikomori living his best life surrounded by cute girls is finally returning to us. KONOSUBA -God’s blessing on this wonderful world! Season 3 will be consuming our lives when it premieres in April 2024. Until that day comes, let’s enjoy the new trailer and Darkness in a sexy maid uniform.
Natsume Akatsuki began writing his KonoSuba novel series on December 20th, 2012. Kadokawa Shoten later picked up the rights, and the artist Kurone Mishima joined the series. The Kadokawa Sneaker Bunko imprint has published all seventeen volumes.
Our Hero Party includes the following:
- Kazuma Satou — Jun Fukushima (Gabiru from That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime). A hikikomori from Japan. He died somewhat young and obtained a chance to live a better life in a fantasy world.
- Aqua — Sora Amamiya (Illustrious in Azur Lane). She is the goddess who sends Kazuma to the other world. She provokes Kazuma by ridiculing the way he died, so he drags her with him to the next world.
- Megumin — Rie Takahashi (Pepper from Urusei Yatsura). A powerful arch wizard from the Crimson Demons clan. She has only one spell that creates a powerful explosion and refuses to use anything else.
- Darkness — Ai Kayano (Shiro from No Game No Life). A crusader with incredible physical abilities. She’s nigh impervious to physical attacks. This serves to aid in her masochistic tendencies.

KonoSuba Returns With a Little Sister-Like Character
KonoSuba is a classic isekai story about a Japanese NEET who meets the business end of a truck. He died a hero when he pushed a girl out of the way. Aqua, the Goddess of Water, met him. Beautiful though she was, this goddess continued to verbally poke and prod Kazuma during his reincarnation process. Kazuma eventually chose Aqua herself as one of his boons. Thus, she went with him to the world of Axel.
The third season of KonoSuba will adapt the sixth volume of the light novel. Kazuma will lament the lack of a little sister-type girl in his party. It’s then that he’s invited to a royal banquet. Kazuma will meet the young Princess Iris, a little sister-type girl who takes to his tales of adventure. There’s more to Iris than what’s on the surface. However, Kazuma is simply happy to have this archetype slot filled.
