If you’re tired of the trend of endless isekai anime that has been dominating the airwaves over the last few years, you might want to cover your eyes and ears for a bit longer because we’ve got news of another series from the genre to report on today.
According to the official Twitter account for Hobby Japan’s light novel imprint, HJ Novels, fans can now look forward to an anime adaptation of the light novel series Kamitachi ni Hirowareta Otoko (The Man Picked Up by the Gods). We have no further details regarding when the series will be released, what format the anime will be in, or who will bring the adaptation to life.

Created by author Roy, the series was initially published on the website Shōsetsuka ni Narō in 2015, before the series was compiled and put into print by Hobby Japan with illustrations from Ririnra in 2017. The eighth volume will be released to store shelves on Saturday, February 22nd.
Kamitachi ni Hirowareta Otoko is being published in English digitally by J-Novel Club under the localized title of By the Grace of the Gods who describes the story as:
