After a five-year serialization run, Crystal na Yousuke’s Bonnou☆Saiyuuki manga is ending. Shogakukan, the publisher, informed readers that the manga will conclude with its thirteenth volume. The announcement came via a listing for the manga’s twelve tankoubon volumes.
Bonnou☆Saiyuuki‘s twelfth volume will hit stores next week on November 19. Shogakukan has yet to reveal the release date for the manga’s thirteenth volume. Regardless, with its conclusion, ecchi lovers have lost yet another of their much-loved titles. The Cafe Terrace and its Goddesses and Tying the Knot With an Amagami Sister recently completed their serialization. Other steamy titles, like Yu Hashimoto’s 2.5 Dimensional Seduction and Yakinikuteishoku’s Does It Count If You Lose Your Virginity to an Android?, are also a few chapters away from their end.

Crystal na Yousuke, known for works like Love is Like a Cocktail and Otoko no Ko Tsuma, writes and illustrates the Bonnou☆Saiyuuki manga. Shogakukan’s Monthly Sunday Gene-X (Sunday GX) has serialized the manga since its February 2020 debut.
For Hoshi Sanzo, nothing is more important than his faith. The Buddhist priest is so firm in his belief that, to ensure his salvation and that of others, he undertakes a years-long journey to India to find sacred sutras. But while the devout priest follows the Buddha’s Brahmacharya teachings, there’s a little bump in the way of his plans. Or to be precise, there are three major bumps in his way. Three positively erotic waifus, Son Gokuu, Cho Hakki, and Sha Gojyo, accompany him on his journey. But instead of helping the chaste priest hold on to his beliefs, the three girls are a never-ending source of sexual temptation for the poor priest.
