Yuri lovers rejoice! Deregula has released the premiere date for Yakinikuteishoku’s erotic girl’s love sci-fi manga, Does It Count If You Lose Your Virginity to an Android?! In addition to the January 2026 premiere, Deregula released information about several key production cast members and the anime’s voice cast. The producer also launched a Hanisuka website and social media pages.

Deregula, a label of WWWave Corporation, will produce the short-form anime Hanisuka. For those not in the know, Deregula is credited with the oppai-filled goodness that was Yandere Dark Elf, as well as the NTR saga of Chuhai Lips. The newbie studio Nyan Pollution-ω- is credited with adapting the anime. Further production staff includes:

- Fumihiko Otera. Sound director
- Mitsuru Tsukiumi (Mission: Yozakura Family). Character and color design
- Tomohiro Hayashi (Chuhai Lips). Director of photography and editor

Yakinikuteishoku writes and illustrates the Does It Count If You Lose Your Virginity to an Android? manga. Ichijinsha’s Comic Yuri Hime has serialized the manga since July 2021. Seven Seas Entertainment publishes the English version of the manga in North America. Both the Japanese and English versions have been compiled into six tankobon volumes.

Unlike most nearly-thirty-year-olds, Akane Tsuda seems to be a well-kept and grounded individual. After all, Akane is beautiful, eroppoi, book-smart, and a valuable asset to her company. But her private person is the polar opposite of her professional one. At home, the bishoujo robotics technician is a slob who uses her apartment’s floor like a dumpster. Akane lives in the kind of squalid conditions that would make raccoons orgasm.
Fueled by her regular alcohol consumption, Akane decides to tackle the mess in her home by ordering a helper android. But due to her drunken state, she mistakenly orders a love droid! After sobering up and realizing her mistake, Akane is left in a predicament. She can’t return her purchase, and she can’t let anyone know she got it. And so the only option left is to welcome the horny and kawaii machine into her home.
