In celebration of Hobby Japan’s 50th anniversary, Infinite Dendrogram by Sakon Kaidou will get a televised anime series, slated to air January 9th, 2020. The official website revealed the main production staff working on the series, and the main character cast.
Sakon Kaidou originally launched the series on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in October 2015. Later that month, Hobby Japan began publishing the novel, along with Taiki as the illustrator, which so far comprises nine volumes. The light novel series also received a manga adaptation by Kami Imai (Needless) which is being serialized in Comic Fire, and has complied four volumes. J-Novel Club licensed both the light novel and the manga in English.

In the year 2043, <Infinite Dendrogram>, the world’s first successful full-dive VRMMO was released. In addition to its ability to perfectly simulate the five senses, along with its many other amazing features, the game promised to offer players a world full of infinite possibilities. Nearly two years later, soon-to-be college freshman, Reiji Mukudori, is finally able to buy a copy of the game and start playing.
