The Hero and Demon King fight to the bitter end with the fate of the world on the line. It’s a tale as old as time, especially in anime and manga. So it is that the brave Hero and infernal Demon King meet their end on the battlefield, saving the world from the demon’s wrath. However, their story wouldn’t end quite so soon. These mortal enemies are reborn in another world, and the Hero quickly finds her mortal enemy. We’ll see how their reunion unfolds when Hanaori-san Still Wants to Fight in the Next Life (Hanaori-san wa Tensei Shite mo Kenka ga Shitai) premieres sometime in 2026.

The Hero and Demon King Clash! Hanaori-san Still Wants to Fight in the Next Life
The fearsome Demon King led his armies to bring humanity to ruin. He presented an insurmountable challenge to every warrior who dared stand before him. Humanity kept one shining hope alive within them: the Hero destined to defeat the Demon King. The Hero was a young woman with a light in her eyes, donned in a suit of armor and a pretty skirt. The two fought to the bitter end, where both breathed their last. Humanity had won, even if they lost their Hero.

Fate would not let these two mortal enemies perish altogether. The Demon King is reborn as the Japanese NEET Ryusei Narukami. As Ryusei, he spends all of his time playing video games in a darkened room. On the other hand, the reborn Hero Meteor Hanaori continues to shine in the light. She’s a popular high school girl and regained her memories of her previous life. Meteor tracked the Demon King’s remnant magic all the way to Ryusei’s house, thus awakening his former memories. Meteor decides to keep an eye on Ryusei, even as he becomes her new high school teacher. Whatever plans she has, he has his own goals in mind.
