Free-to-play Korean gacha game Goddess of Victory: Nikke began its first limited collaboration event on February 22nd, and it’s with Chainsaw Man. You may know Goddess of Victory: Nikke as “that butt game” that made the rounds on Twitter a few months ago for its focus on “backstory.” Being a game focused on guns and fanservice, I wondered how it would go since Chainsaw Man isn’t exactly full of both. I’m somewhat saddened to report that both Power and Makima don’t get the — uh — loving backstory other units in the game got. Himeno got some, however. There’s an all-new story, and the three new units are Power, Makima, and Himeno.
The Goddess of Victory: Nikke collab includes some great new music, new art for the main Chainsaw Man cast, an all-new story, new bosses, cooperative multiplayer, a login bonus, and several new missions. The collab runs until March 15th. Shift-Up’s history with collabs is that they are usually a one-and-done deal with little chance of a re-run, so don’t miss out on this collab if you’re a fan of either property. Goddess of Victory: Nikke is currently accessible for Android, iOS, and PC.
