Get Attack on Titan’s Captain Levi to Clean Your House!

Forget about a world record, Attack on Titan is delivering the ultimate fan service experience by sending a character from the series over to clean your house (sort of)!

Reservations are now open for a brand new Captain Levi robo-vac that comes with a sticker featuring the character. Now, I know what you’re thinking. It’s just a fancy cleaner that has been branded with a sticker, what’s the big deal? Well, this isn’t just any normal, ordinary robo-vac. This is a talking robo-vac that features over 100 lines of original dialogue recorded by the voice actor, Hiroshi Kamiya.

That’s right, while your vacuum is running around your home you’ll get to hear the Attack on Titan appliance talking while it works with such gems as “I’m going to start cleaning the area. My mission is to make sure that not a speck of dust is left in this shitty room. For as long as I live. As long as I live.” If that’s not diligent enough for you, you could also hear it say “The sweep is complete. This is real cleaning. Do you understand?” As mentioned though, with over 100 lines of cleaning dialogue recorded, it might take a while before you actually hear everything it has to say.

The robo-vac can be reserved now from HikariTV for 69,800 yen (about $640 USD) with the units being shipped starting on June 9th.

I’ve seen some interesting anime merchandise crossovers in my time and I can honestly say that this isn’t the strangest thing I’ve ever seen. While I wouldn’t pay over $600 for an uppity cleaning appliance that might scold me for not keeping my house cleaner, I can see how this would be a really interesting collector’s item for fans of the character. Plus, it’s functional, which is certainly a lot more practical than collecting every single character figure.
