Ushiro No Shomen Kamui-San Will Exorcise Ghosts This July

A truly horny horror anime is on its way! The anime adaptation of Ushiro no Shomen Kamui-san (KAMUI: He’s Behind You) will premiere in July 2026! To hype its premiere, WWWave Corporation’s Deregula label has released a trailer and visual. They also revealed several staff and VA roles. Studio Zero-G (Farming Life in Another World) and newbie studio ZG-R will animate the adaptation. Like all WWWave titles, the anime will have a censored, broadcast version and a cultured “Perfect Deregula” version.

Ushiro no Shomen Kamui-san Synopsis and Deets

Ghosts, only weirdos like them. To most people, ghosts, poltergeists, haunting, and spirits are something to avoid. And when those people realize there’s something strange in their neighborhood, who are they gonna call? They call the Ghostbusters: the renowned exorcist Kamui and his kawaii assistant, Shizuka! No matter how vile the spirit, the ghost-busting duo can lay them to rest — all that’s needed is a massive amount of horniness! After all, the best way to send lingering souls to heaven is by making them orgasm!

Eroki writes the Ushiro no Shomen Kamui-san manga, which features illustrations by Shinko Konoshiro. Shogakukan’s Ura Sunday and MangaONE have serialized the manga since its March 2020 debut. The publisher has compiled the manga into 12 tankobon volumes.
