Capitalizing on the release of the Atelier Ryza anime, Koei Tecmo is slashing the prices of the games on the Nintendo eShop in the United States and Europe until July 30th. Switch users can pick up the first two games at a 50% discount, making them USD$30 each. Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End & the Secret Key, the newest release, is 25% off, bringing the price to USD$45.
With deals like these, it’s a great time to jump into those warm, inviting… RPGs. All the memes about Ryza’s thickness notwithstanding, the Atelier Ryza games are good. They’re relaxing titles, perfect for chilling out inside on a hot summer’s day.
Worth noting, other Koei Tecmo titles aside from Atelier Ryza are also on sale. Those include Monster Rancher 1+2 DX, Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water, Fatal Frame: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse, Attack on Titan 2: Final Battle, Ninja Gaiden Master Collection, and a small selection of Musou/Warriors games. Even so, let’s be real here: we’re just here for the thighs. Bear in mind, Koei Tecmo is notorious for low print runs on physical copies, so downloading a copy is recommended. Because of the limited copies, their niche titles tend to be rare, with higher prices. This unfortunately includes all three Atelier Ryza titles.
