Rejoice, friends! A two-year wait for an anime adaptation is finally ending. #COMPASS 2.0 is based on the Japan-only video game, #COMPASS. In the series, #COMPASS 2.0 is the in-universe virtual reality game that has taken the world by storm. It allows players to team up with legendary figures from other worlds and time periods. Like the Fate series but with less drama. One such warrior has always turned down partners until a new gamer entered the arena. We’ll see how they perform when #COMPASS 2.0 COMbat Providence AnalysiS System premieres sometime in April 2025. Nana Mizuki performs the opening theme song “Hakudo” (Pulse) and Yuma Uchida performs the ending theme song “Heartache.”

A law-breaking reaper, his new gamer partner, and a legendary French woman are as follows:
- 13 — Daisuke Ono (Jotaro Kujo from JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure). A former angel who now stands as a reaper (shinigami). He has refused to partner with any human gamer.
- Jin — Yuma Uchida (Megumi Fushiguro in Jujutsu Kaisen). A new #COMPASS player who has difficulty finding a partner hero.
- Jeanne d’Arc — Sora Amamiya (Illustrious from Azur Lane). A holy maiden who heals people. She desires strength to defend those important to her.

#COMPASS 2.0 is a wildly popular virtual reality game. Warriors from other worlds and times gather together in the arena with their gamer partners to wage battle. The rules state that every warrior must have a player partner to compete. 13 is a skilled and popular warrior who adamantly refuses to partner with someone, which makes him a successful rule-breaker.
The cute robot girl Voidoll manages the arena to ensure things go smoothly. An armada of bugs led by Bugdoll has recently appeared to steal #COMPASS 2.0‘s energy for herself. Jin enters the arena amid this battle. He receives a partner request from 13 and joins the fray. The rookie gamer and the mysterious reaper may just turn the tide of battle and save the world.
