What’s the best part of being transported to another world? Is it exchanging the humdrum reality of Earth for overpowered cheats? Of course not — the best part of an isekai is the gorgeous babes that come along with it. Your new home will almost certainly be packed with klutzy goddesses, busty swordswomen, and overcompensating mages.
Today on the J-List blog, we’re giving that infamous truck-kun a little kiss (don’t attempt this at home), and diving face-first into the ample bosom of the sexiest isekai cosplay!
It’s a very special time for us at J-List, because 30 years ago this week, we started the first anime and hentai shop selling to fans around the world. And we’ve been able to make it this far thanks to our wonderful customers. We’re celebrating with a huge 20% sale on all in-stock Japan products, through October 7th. Start browsing now!
The Slimiest Isekai Cosplay Around
Kicking us off today, we’re reincarnating as one very lucky slime: Rimuru Tempest from That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime. Technically, reincarnation falls into the tensei category, which is where the series’ shorthand name, TenSura, comes from. However, isekai and tensei settings often involve fantasy worlds, so we’re counting them together!
Being reborn as a lowly slime might not be everyone’s cup of tea. Thankfully, Rimuru’s magical gifts give him supercomputer-like intelligence. By “naming” monsters and setting up trade routes, he quickly carves out a powerful nation.
TenSura fans are in for a treat with these talented cosplayer babes, including a surprise gender-bent cosplay of Rimuru himself. If that’s not enough TenSura for you, check out the J-List store’s box set of the TenSura hentai parody, Tensei Kendo no Harem Colosseo.

Returning by Death for Re:Zero Babes
Re:Zero has surged in popularity recently, with its fourth and latest season setting some impressive records on IMDb. At the time of writing, the final episode of Season 4 has an average rating of 9.8, which would be unthinkable for plenty of other isekai. The success is thanks to the fans who show up to support Subaru in his tortured quest to awaken Rem, save Emilia, and confront his own shortcomings.
In the latest season, Subaru and friends cross a monster-infested desert wasteland to reach the Pleiades Watchtower. But surviving the treacherous crossing isn’t the end for poor Subaru. Inside the tower, the gang faces three seemingly impossible trials. And let’s not forget the obsessively clingy Shaula, who already seems to know Subaru!
It’s pretty easy to see why Subaru is willing to risk life and limb (and his sanity) for these beautiful babes. We’d gladly “return by death” to see these incredible Re:Zero cosplays for the first time all over again.

This angelic Rem cosplay by Neyrodesu is cute enough to die for!

(Right) Cute or obsessive? Either way, HaneAme’s Shaula is beautiful!
Is It Okay to Pick Up Girls on the German Frontlines?
We hate to remind you, but the year is quickly ending. In three months, 2017 will be ten years ago, and that’s exactly when The Saga of Tanya the Evil first aired. Fans have been impatiently waiting a decade to see this psychotic little tsundere return to the trenches, and finally, Season 2 is upon us. Here’s hoping it doesn’t take another decade for a third season!
The Saga of Tanya the Evil takes place in an alternate version of Europe armed with magical powers derived from prayer — a cruel joke played on the atheist reborn in Tanya’s diminutive body. Even worse, Tanya is magically and tactically talented and quickly pushed to the front lines of totally-not-Germany to wage explosive, magical war.
Want to know something else criminal? It’s criminal how good these cosplays are, especially the attention to detail in the military uniforms. Cosplayers really go the extra mile for characters and photoshoots like these, and we’re thankful for their service!

(Right) Kikuichi’s cosplay of Tanya receives the highest dress marks from us!

ThanatosArts makes Tanya look devilishly cute!
Mushoku Tensei: The Hottest and Most Controversial Isekai Cosplay
Our final stop on the isekai tour is Mushoku Tensei, which just finished airing the first part of its third season. Aside from his decent affinity with magic, Rudeus Greyrat misses the boat on superpowers — and the mysterious god who visits his dreams only brings catastrophes. The final episode of Season 3, Part 1, ended on a huge cliffhanger, and anime-only fans are dying to know what happens next!

Mushoku Tensei gets unnecessary flak from haters due to Rudeus’ harem of girls, which is ironic given how many romantic comedies feature a harem of competing affections. In Mushoku Tensei’s world, polygamy is legal and mostly normalized, allowing Rudeus to treat each of his beautiful lovers as full-blown wives and family members. Isn’t that better than harem comedies where the best girl always loses? (Sorry, we’re still not over The Quintessential Quintuplets yet…)
No matter who your favorite waifu is, you’ll love these fantastic Mushoku Tensei cosplays, featuring the Holy Trinity of Sylphiette, Roxy, and Eris!

AlixxRosa is ready for Sylphy’s “big moment” in this cosplay!

Suna Bunny cosplays the fiery redhead herself, Eris Greyrat.
Plenty of amazing isekai have dropped this year, including others we didn’t have room for in this post. What’s been your favorite isekai this year? Let us know what you think about these isekai cosplays in the comments, and as always, thanks for reading!
