The votes have been tallied, and Naruto fans all over the world have made their voices heard. A poll was held on the official Narutop99 home page where fans could cast their votes on their favorite characters, and an incredible amount of ninjas showed up to voice their support. Masashi Kishimoto, the mangaka who wrote and drew this most legendary of series starring the titular character Naruto Uzumaki, personally thanked his fans. He even let it be known that he had a favorite character as well, the nine-tailed fox within Naruto, Kurama.
Masashi Kishimoto also revealed that the global leader of Naruto, the titular character’s father himself, Minato Namikaze, would be getting a one-shot manga. Whether this is because he took the top ranking in the global leaderboards, or if this was planned ahead of time, is unclear. Regardless, more Naruto manga is always a good thing.
