The witching hour is upon us! Halloween has almost reached its apex, and that’s when the spooky stuff materializes. We have previously recruited cute vampire girls, witch girls, and beast girls to help us make the most of Halloween. Some J-List writers used their expertise to recruit monster girls to make trick-or-treating more fun and safer. Let’s see who they went with. Don’t forget to pick up a J-List Snack Box Blind Value Box Halloween Edition to round off the season right.
1. Beniko Zashiki (A Terrified Teacher at Ghoul School!) — The Captain
Beniko is a trickster of a zashikiwarashi monster girl. Her abilities depend on the color of her clothes. She wears red only to bring misfortune to her new teacher, Haruaki Abe. Beniko isn’t malicious because she enjoys watching him flounder about. Haruaki convinced her to return to class, so he secured one win. Now, if only he could get her to wear a proper school uniform.
Mai Tanaka released the original A Terrified Teacher at Ghoul School! manga series on November 18th, 2014. Square Enix has published sixteen volumes in Monthly G Fantasy.
Beniko could be a fun partner for Halloween. She’ll either bring good luck or misfortune, depending on the color of her clothes. Either works for this spooky season.
2. Miia (Monster Musume) — Kashou
Miia is a fiery lamia monster girl. Her cute looks and tantalizing figure belay the danger she could pose to her enemies. Miia is one of the many monster girls who cohabitate with Kimihito. She’s also the most possessive girl around. Kimihito is more familiar with her constricting long tail than others. Other scary and sexy monster girls — including her pink-haired mother — pose a threat to her plans to marry him.
Okayado released Monster Musume on March 19th, 2012. Tokuma Shoten has published nineteen volumes in Monthly Comic Ryu. Studio Lerche’s anime adaptation premiered on July 7th, 2015.
Miia’s famous snake-like body can help carry more candy and fend off dangerous monsters on Halloween.
3. Elaina (Wandering Witch: The Journey of Elaina) — Joe
This witch girl is no stranger to walking the Halloween streets. The legendary witch Niké inspired Elaina to travel the world to gain experience and wisdom. She became Fran the Stardust Witch’s apprentice and became a full-fledged witch. Elaina would later earn Niké’s former title, “the Ashen Witch.”
Jogi Shiraishi and Azure released the original Wandering Witch: The Journey of Elaina light novel on April 15th, 2016. SB Creative has since published 23 volumes in the GA Novel imprint. Studio C2C’s anime adaptation premiered on October 2nd, 2020.
Elaina’s stamina for long travels enables her to continue trick-or-treating long after everyone else has grown tired and returned home. Her magic could also fend off Halloween monsters should they try to turn humans into snacks.
4. Liru (Renkin 3-kyu Magical? Pokan) — Kasaix
We can’t have Halloween without the best werewolf monster girl. Liru’s legend persists even after her series premiered in 2006. She’s a tan wolf girl with minimal clothing, after all. Liru’s best friends are a witch, a vampire, and an android, so she is suited to the Halloween season. Like other werewolves, Liru has enhanced physical abilities and a wolf form. Potential mates should know that Matsuzaka beef is Liru’s favorite meat.
Kenichi Yatani and Yasunori Ide created Renkin 3-kyu Magical? Pokan for Studio Remic. This anime series premiered on April 4th, 2006.
Anyone would thrive during Halloween night with Liru at their side. Not only would she get all of the candy from houses, but she could make short work of other monsters.
5. The Swamp Witch (Queen’s Blade)
The Swamp Witch is legendary and the source of many conflicts and tragedies. She has revived the dead and gained control of different women to serve in her campaign to take control of the country. To that end, the Swamp Witch has taken steps to end the Queen’s Blade Tournament to remove another obstacle in her path of conquest.
Queen’s Blade first began its sexy tournament as a series of visual combat books published by Hobby Japan. Studio ARMS’s anime adaptation premiered on April 2nd, 2009.
If you can’t avoid the darkness, curry favor with the darkness. Cultured people might want to cozy up beside the Swamp Witch for protection and a spooky Halloween. She doesn’t seem like the “fun” sort of dark waifu, but we can’t be sure she wouldn’t enjoy scaring people in exchange for candy.
Which monster girl would you recruit to help you enjoy Halloween? Would you recommend anyone else for your team? Could you sway the Swamp Witch to stay with you rather than eliminate you at first sight? Let us know in the comments below.
