Top Waifu — YoRHa No.2 Type B / 2B (Nier:Automata Ver1.1a.)
Who else but 2B, known as 2Booty to the most cultured otaku, could take Best Girl of 2023? She’s Nier:Automata Ver1.1a.’s Best Girl, a title she retained from the original NieR:Automata video game. 2B is the lovely flower that blooms on the battlefield of a devastated planet. She’s proven that her beauty is matched only by her intelligence and strength. Of course, let’s not forget that her popularity is also aided by her revealing outfit. I have no doubt that people got her upskirt trophy before anything else when playing NieR:Automata.
Best Anime Moment of 2023 — Frieren’s Gift for Stark (Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End)
Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End has a ton of iconic moments. There’s the time Frieren tried to use seduction on a priest, only to fail. However, the scene that really captured our hearts and minds was Frieren’s gift. Stark’s birthday was coming soon, and she showed Fern her gift: a potion that melted women’s clothing. It was so great that an animator took it further and changed the scene to include pantsu. Unfortunately for Stark, Fern disagreed with her gift-giving plans and used it on Frieren. And not for fun!
Anime-related game of 2023? — Fate/Samurai Remnant
A good anime game is rough to come by. Many are quick cash grabs or just poorly developed. Thankfully for us, Koei Tecmo made Fate/Samurai Remnant, a hack-and-slash video game set in Type-Moon’s multifaceted Fate series. Iori, the adopted son of the legendary samurai Miyamoto Musashi, carries on after his master’s death. He’s drawn into a war, the Waxing Moon Ritual. It’s there that he meets another Miyamoto Musashi, a busty waifu. Iori, Saber, and their allies must battle to determine how this ritual plays out. Like other Fate games, multiple paths determine Iori’s destiny.
