When something funny or just out-of-the-ordinary pops up, it’s definitely going to be meme worthy at some point.
E3 was filled with exciting announcements from the big names of the game industry. In the event, the announcement for the upcoming game Ghost Wire: Tokyo was also revealed to the public.
During the game’s presentation, Resident Evil original creator Shinji Mikami and creative director Ikumi Nakamura were present and were excited to share about Bethesda’s new IP. What made this presentation memorably was the energetic and adorable stage presence of Nakamura as she introduces the game to everyone before the video presentation was played on screen.
For anyone who missed Bethesda's Press Conference, allow me to save you an hour and twenty minutes by sharing the most wholesome, sincere and adorable portion of the entire show: creative director Ikumi Nakamura introducing her new game, GhostWire: Tokyo. pic.twitter.com/VA7BRm3fXh

Nakamura admitted that she was nervous and wasn’t really good at speaking English, but she did her best to share her excitement about the game during the presentation. She won the hearts of many online—and people are now making memes and fan art about her!

While we adored E3 2019’s “best girl”, let’s not forget that Ikumi Nakamura is Shinji Mikami’s apprentice and she did the lead art design for The Evil Within and The Evil Within 2. She was also responsible for designing concept art for the popular video game franchise, Bayonetta.
Bethesda has not revealed much key information about the game during its presentation such as a release date, gameplay, or which platforms will it be available. Regardless, everyone seems to be taking Nakamura’s words to heart that this is a new horror game watching out for.
Ikumi Nakamura, everybody's new crush, is Shinji Mikami's disciple. She's worked as artist for Okami, Bayonetta and as lead artist on TEW. Now she's directing Ghostwire.
We've just watched a torch get passed down live on #E3 with Shinji introducing her and it warms my heart. pic.twitter.com/OsdU6sEqwm
