Homi, Ren, and Yua find runs in their tights.
Episode 3 – “Replacing Tights”
Hmm.
This week, we got to see more of the friendship dynamic between the three girls. The interplay of their personality quirks, especially how Homi is so quick to pull down her pantyhose in a classroom full of boys, led to great moments in comedy and even some friendly yuri. A girl jumping on top of a pile of squirming legs, adding her own squirming legs, can be yuri, yes?
I also have to commend the sound effects of the tights getting torn. Each time it happened, I actually gasped. For the audience, we’re here to look lovingly at those smooth legs in tights, so to have them ruined with a scar of white skin is almost an act of violence. But, there are some who think of tearing tights as ripping open gift wrapped presents, so perhaps the visual of all those run in the hose at the end of the episode scratched that itch a little bit too.
Heh.
Homi has problems. Runs in her tights!
Ren doesn’t like how Homi is sitting with her legs wide open like that.
Homi goes straight to taking the ripped hose off in the classroom again!
Gasp! Ren tore her own tights trying to protect Homi’s modesty. Homi doesn’t seem to have very much of that, but Ren wants to protect it.
That ripping sound feels like my own heart is tearing.
This whole episode is about that exquisite disappointed feeling of looking at ruined tights. Or is it exhilarated feeling?
Even Yua has a run in her tights. This is a national emergency!
I like these scenes with the girls talking and all we see are their legs moving. It’s very important to recognize each girl by the darkness of their tights and how they fidget when they talk.
Gasp again! Oh no! Yua ripped her tights in the exact same place.
Ren literally laughs out loud, but Yua strikes back.
Catfight! Home feels left out. Pile on the wrestling legs. This catfight has turned into a dog pile.
I guess the girls only brought one spare pair of hose with them. Look at all those tears.
