Aria levels up after Tama goes beast mode, and a continuing bath scene streak? Technically.
Episode 10 — “The Powers of Tama and Aria”
Hmm.
Beheneko has two recurring plot elements. First, every episode is the bath episode. Including this one! Technically and barely, but yes, Beheneko kept the streak alive. The second recurring line is that “elemental cats are mysterious creatures.” What have we learned throughout the season?
- Juvenile behemoths resemble elemental cats until they release their first-form wings.
- Second-form behemoths are dungeon bosses.
- Third-form behemoths are holy beasts.
I have questions, though. Has no one walked up to a behemoth to ask it questions? Does the third form only appear for reincarnated souls? Are S-Class monsters always self-aware, like Stella? And does the painting of the “First Hero and Holy Beast” hint at pairs of souls reincarnating through generations? And what about the elemental cat Aria met when Alisha saved her elf village? Is it the Holy Beast connected to the Sword Saint?
Beheneko has two episodes left to answer these questions as Aria returns to the beginning. I hope she doesn’t pee her pants again.
Weekly Beheneko Cleavage and Pussy… Cat!

Much like the short shrift this episode gave its only bath scene, pussy… cat cleavage was also rare. Tama’s best scenes happened after he impersonated a Holy Beast and bouncily collapsed onto Aria’s mammary mattress. Tama also felt the brunt of Aria’s concern and relief that Stella avoided her self-sacrifice arc. Yes, that moment came after that situation catalyzed Aria’s new skill. She caught up to her comrades.

Otherwise, we saw Tama inside his familiar pussy pillows. We watched an action episode instead of an “action” episode, so I’m happy we had several scenes of Tama deep in Aria’s cups.
Heh.

Beheneko recaps last week’s preparations for Aria’s party to face the Big Four. Everyone received new skills except Aria. Alisha departs for her homeland to fight a demon lord. Two other demons appeared where the imperial forces predicted, but two surprisingly appeared in separate places. The last one showed up in the labyrinth near where Vulcan and Aria live. That explains the emergency quest Arnold asked Aria’s party to solve.
Oh? Cedric’s knights joined Aria’s defense of her hometown. The labyrinth’s first floor is even lousier with high-level monsters than the last time Aria saw it in Beheneko, Episode 8. Nice. Vulcan made artifact weapons and armor for all her friends. The knights will handle trolls while Aria’s party and Prince Julius enter the boss room.

Ah. One of the Demonic Four, Vasago. He has the same sing-song voice as Roswaal from Re:Zero. Understandable. Because they share the same voice actor, Takehito Koyasu. Vasago is not a fighter, though. He likes watching people follow his orders. Orthros and Cyclops, come on down! Orthros is the two-headed brother of Cerberus. Julius takes Vasago, and Aria’s party fights the mythological monsters.
Tama finally gets to do something. He supports Aria against Orthros, and Vulcan’s group gives a one-eyed monster something to pay attention to. Uh oh. Things aren’t going well. Vasago leaves before the fight is over, like any Bond villain. Tama transforms into his third form!
Beheneko’s Bath Episode, Again! What? That’s It?

Beheneko draws out the suspense of what Tama looks like. And it extended the bath episode streak! Will Alisha get into the bath with Revi? I like Revi’s tan waifu demon skin. And she’s dead. Again. Demons have many lives, according to her. That’s one of the Demonic Four down.

And we’re back to Tama’s transformation. Hah! The others mistake him for a Holy Beast. Behemoths get no recognition in this world. Ack. Cerberus’s little bro and Cyclops consume parts of themselves to power up. Aha. It’s time for melodrama in Beheneko so Aria can “find her reason to fight” and develop a new skill.

Stella takes the self-sacrificial ethos of the tank too far — sappy flashbacks to say goodbye, incoming. Aria won’t let Stella die! Aria fights for her friends! Her new skill: Excalibur. Prince Julius’s sword skill was Caliburn, so we have Arthurian myths mashed up with Greek mythology.
And Tama shrinks back to an exhausted baby behemoth. Aw. Aria’s relief about saving Stella, Tama helping her, and advancing as a fighter all came out as tears and smashing boobs.
Aria’s Homecoming and Tripping Down Beheneko Mammary Lane

The next battlefield? Aria’s hometown. Because that is the location of the Philosopher’s Stone. That light next to the hot spring in the local labyrinth is only a fragment. They need to sail on a ship to get there! Nice boat.
Next time, I hope Beheneko answers my most pressing question: how will it extend the bath episode streak this time?
Beheneko: The Elf-Girl’s Cat is Secretly an S-Ranked Monster! streams on Hidive in Japanese audio with English subtitles.
I appreciate how Beheneko introduced Revi in a nude scene and immediately dispatched her as a beheaded, scaly hag. That’s efficient. Can it do it again in Aria’s hometown? Will we see steamy MILF Elf boobs from Aria’s mother? What are the odds? Let us know in the comments below.
