When smartphone game hype meets luxury.
Japanese Twitter user and professional illustrator @hagitcho recently posted on what appears to be a work-in-progress of a secret collaboration project between the luxury brand Louis Vuitton and popular smartphone game franchise Azur Lane. The artist is no stranger as he has created and contributed various character designs for series like Fate/Grand Order and Fate/Apocrypha.
The picture reveals to be a painted illustration of the aircraft carrier Taihou on the iconic LV leather. It’s not known yet if this bag will be part of the franchise’s official merchandise or if it will be on sale anytime soon.

Translation of the tweet says:
“I had the fantastic opportunity to watch this remarkable Louis Vuitton piece in action. I didn’t expect her to paint in analog! I’m not sure of the details, but it seems to be an official project. Magnificent!”
Netizens were in awe and amazed by the artwork. If ever this will be on sale, a customized collaboration bag would usually be priced at 500,000 yen ($4,402 USD.) This bag might definitely be a must-have for an Azur Lane fan who would want to share their love for the franchise with a touch of class during normal or special occasions.
