Haruka Tomatsu who voices for the popular anime franchise Sword Art Online’s Asuna Yuuki, has announced on her blog, her marriage took place on Friday, January 11th. She also stated that her husband is not part of the entertainment industry. Tomatsu adds on that she is still inexperienced, but would love to build a happy home and continue working as a voice actor. She included a message thanking her fans, work colleagues, and her family for supporting her.
Tomastu won best supporting actress for the 7th Annual Seiyuu Awards in 2013 and the Synergy award for Youkai Watch for the 9th Annual Seiyuu Awards in 2015. She was also one of the best female voice actor in the 2017 and 2018 Newtype Anime Awards. Some of Tomatsu voice acting includes the current airing series Sword Art Online: Alicization as Asuna Yuuki, and her previous works includes DARLING in the FRANXX as Zero Two, Gate: Thus the JSDF Fought There! as Pina Co Lada, To Love-Ru as Lala Satalin Deviluke, and many more. Not only does she voice act, she is also an active solo singer and group singer for Sphere. As a solo singer she has released 19 singles and four albums. As a member of Sphere she has released 20 singles and five albums.
