The official website of the anime adaptation of Kouhei Horikoshi’s Boku no Hero Academia (My Hero Academia) manga has revealed new cast members for the upcoming second season which is scheduled to air from April 1st. In addition, the artists performing the opening and ending theme songs were also revealed.
The new cast members who will make their first appearance in the season’s U.A.’s sports festival arc include:
Kouhei Amasaki (Takaki Uno in Mobile Suit Gundam: Tekketsu no Orphans) joins the cast to voice Neito Monoma
Saki Ogasawara (Azusa Nakajou from Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei) is going to voice Itsuka Kendou
Kouji Okino (Debut Role) as Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu
Miho Masaka (Miho from Sacred Seven) voices Ibara Shiozaki
Azu Sakura (Debut Role) voicing the role of Mei Hatsume
Wataru Hatano (Hakuya Mitsumine in Mikakunin de Shinkoukei) will voice Hitoshi Shinsou
Tetsu Inada (Ira Gamagoori from Kill la Kill) as Endeavour
The opening theme song of the second season will be “Peace Sign” performed by Kenshi Yonezu (Third ending theme for 3-gatsu no Lion). The Ending theme song will be sung by Little Glee Monster. The title of the ED will be revealed at a later date.
The second season of Boku no Hero Academia is scheduled to air from Saturday March 25th at 5:30pm JST on NTV and YTV. The episode on the 25th will be a recap episode of the first anime season. The following episode that airs on April 1st will be the first official episode of the new second season.

In addition, the series is also receiving an original anime special. The upcoming OVA will be written by Horikoshi about a joint practice session between Izuku’s class and the other hero department students at U.A. Academy.

Boku no Hero Academia is a Japanese superhero manga series written and illustrated by Kouhei Horikoshi. It has been serialized in Weekly Shounen Jump since July 2014, and 11 volumes have been collected in tankoubon format. The series has been licensed for English-language release by Viz Media, and began serialization in their weekly digital manga anthology Weekly Shounen Jump on February 9, 2015. The story follows Izuku Midoriya, a boy born without superpowers in a world where they are the norm, but who still dreams of becoming a superhero himself, and is scouted by the world’s greatest hero who shares his powers with Izuku after recognizing his value and enrolls him in a high school for heroes in training. The manga was adapted into an anime television series; the first season aired from April 3 to June 26, 2016, and a second season is scheduled to premiere on April 1, 2017.
