Hollywood would like you to believe that aliens come to Earth to wage war over our resources. But that’s a lie. Aliens don’t need our crummy minerals and polluted water. The universe is filled with those things. Don’t let the media deceive you — aliens come to Earth for a single reason — they come to get frisky with us! Human holes are the only rarity on this planet. You might not believe me, but you don’t have to. A Yumene Connect anime adaptation is coming to prove abductees right! And the anime’s production committee released a trailer, visuals, and production news to get us ready for extraterrestrial lewdness. They’re lubing us up before the probe.

Yumene Connect — The Interstellar Deets
Few biomes are as savage as high school classrooms. In those untamed lands, a simple faux pas is enough to label you as an outcast for years. Yuhi Takamiya learned that lesson the hard way. The poor lad missed the first week of school, and when he finally showed up, he was already the class outcast. Instead of living an A+ youth, Yuhi now spends his days alone and unloved, pretending to be a bookworm. But while his classmates have abandoned him, creatures from the stars sympathize with his struggle. In fact, they’re so sympathetic to it that an alien named Nano suddenly appears in his room. But she’s not there to probe him — she’s there to help him. However, lewdness still follows.
Ko Sawada writes and illustrates Yumene Connect. Weekly Shonen Magazine (Kodansha) has serialized the manga since its September 2024 debut. Kodansha has compiled the manga into ten volumes.
The anime’s production committee hasn’t announced a premiere date for Yumene Connect.
If you’re not patient and need an interstellar fix right now, could I interest you in Mado Guchimoto’s Tokyo Interstellar Immigration manga? It’s a cross between Men in Black and Star Trek. And it has all the high strangeness of Idonchi’s Occult Times! manga. Reborn as a Space Mercenary, a space-based isekai, is airing this season, and Kashou says you should check it out! It’s not as lewd as Yumene Connect, but there are busty waifus, and that counts for plenty. I love space and never give up a chance to recommend space-based anime, so go and watch Irina the Vampire Cosmonaut and Asteroid in Love, ja ne!
