The cute witchy heroines are back! Mirai and her friends left for opposite directions after they saved two worlds from evil. Darkness has begun to creep through the magical and non-magical worlds several years after the Precure girls saved everyone. We’ll see the group reunite to fight again when Witchy Precure!! Mirai Days premieres on January 11th, 2025.
Toei Animation released the first Witchy Precure!! anime season between February 7th, 2016, and January 29th, 2017.
Three of the Precure girls are as follows:
- Mirai Asahina / Cure Miracle — Rie Takahashi (Pepper from Urusei Yatsura). An energetic girl from the non-magical world. She previously teamed up with Riko to save both worlds.
- Riko Izayoi / Cure Magical — Yui Horie (Mamiya from Kantai Collection). A bookish girl from the magical world. She lived in the non-magical world to locate the Linkle Stones with Mirai.
- Kotoha Hanami / Cure Felice — Saori Hayami (Oyuki from Urusei Yatsura (2022)). A mysterious fairy-like being who once lived in Mirai’s “smartbook.” Shocking revelations declared her to be Mother RaPaPa’s reincarnation.
Toei Animation has maintained a home page and a Twitter (X) page to promote Witchy Precure!! Mirai Days. You can find additional series information and the key visuals there. The magical girls assemble once again.
Witchy Precure!! Mirai Days Shines Again
The magical and non-magical worlds were once wholly separate realms until the darkest magic users made their move. Mirai Asahina is a kind and energetic girl from the non-magic world. She is very interested in magic and witches, so she was excited to learn that such things were real. Riko Izayoi travels from the magic world to locate the Linkle Stones and meets Mirai. They transform into Pretty Cures to fight the dark magicians and save both worlds.
Mirai, Riko, and Kotoha have since faced off against the ultimate evil Deusmast. They face him and battle and triumph against the darkness. Kotoha takes her place as the new Mother RaPaPa, restoring both worlds to their prior forms. This has the unfortunate consequence of separating Mirai from her magical friends. Several years have passed, and Mirai finds a wand-shaped stick. She uses it to try to cast a spell. The Linkle Stone Diamond transforms the stick into a wand and reunites Mirai with her friends. Their reunion isn’t a moment too soon as a new threat approaches the two worlds.
